My country... Argentina

"Argentina" is a beautiful, gorgeous country that derives from the Latin argentum (silver). It is a major producer of meat (especially beef), wheat, corn, milk, beans, and since the 1970s, soybeans. Fruits and vegetables made up 3% of exports: apples and pears in the Río Negro valley; oranges and other citrus in the northwest and Mesopotamia; grapes and strawberries in Cuyo, and berries in the far south. Cotton and yerba mate are major crops in the Gran Chaco, sugarcane and tobacco in the northwest, and olives and garlic in Cuyo. Bananas (Formosa), tomatoes (Salta), and peaches (Mendoza) are grown for domestic consumption.

With all these vegetables and fruits grown up in the country people prepare delicious food, an example is the "rice pappads and appalams" prepared with the following ingredients and directions------>

# rice # lemon juice # jeera # onion # garlic # water # sago # salt # pepper # tomato # green chilly

Directions:
# mixing flour preparation of rice and sago with adequeate quantity of water ,add limited salt to it and mix it ,take to boil for half a hour ,after boiling make the preparation to round shape ,take into the sun light ,after 1 hour take it and fry it.you will get crispy and tasty rice appalams.

Football (soccer) is the most popular sport in Argentina, whose national team is twice FIFA World Cup Champion and one-time Olympic Gold medalist (also fourteen-time Copa América winners. The year that the Argentina won the fourteen-time Copa America was amazing. Everyone was excited. Although they have yet to emerge from the shadow cast by the legendary figure of Diego Armando Maradona, Argentina invariably figure among the select band of favourites for the FIFA World Cup™, a status unaltered by their poor showing at Korea/Japan 2002. With a little more experience now under their belt, the two-time world champions are back for another tilt at the title after becoming the first South American side to qualify for Germany 2006.
